Who is responsible for your information?

What information is collected?

The website quote form asks for:

• Your name and mobile number
• Your house number or name and postcode
• The type of cleaning you are interested in
• Whether an outdoor tap is available, including a “Not sure” choice

If you contact Mike directly or the enquiry progresses, Tidy Jet Washing may also keep your messages, photos you choose to send, quote and appointment details, work records, invoices and payment records. The initial website form does not ask for photos, drainage details or a job description.

For website analytics, HighLevel receives the page address and title, referring page, approximate time on the page, general interaction activity, browser and device information, a random session identifier and the IP address used to provide approximate geographic reporting. The external tracker cannot read the quote details inside the separately embedded HighLevel form.

Why is it used?

Your information is used to:

• Review and respond to your enquiry
• Check the service area and discuss the work you may need
• Prepare a quote and arrange, provide and follow up agreed work
• Keep appropriate customer, accounting and legal records
• Protect the business and resolve questions, complaints or disputes

The lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract where work is agreed, Tidy Jet Washing’s legitimate interests in answering enquiries and running the business, and compliance with legal obligations such as accounting and tax requirements.

A quote request is not marketing consent. The website form is not used to enrol you in marketing campaigns.

Website analytics is used only to produce aggregate statistics about which pages are visited, how visitors reach the site, the devices and browsers used, and how the website can be improved. It is not used for advertising, profiling or automated decisions. This limited use relies on the statistical-purposes exception under PECR and Tidy Jet Washing’s legitimate interests in improving the website under UK GDPR. You can object at any time.

How is HighLevel involved?

The embedded quote form sends your information to Tidy Jet Washing’s HighLevel account. HighLevel provides the form and customer-enquiry system used to receive, store and manage the request on behalf of Tidy Jet Washing.

After submission, HighLevel sends an automated confirmation text to the mobile number supplied and sends Mike an internal text containing the enquiry details so he can respond. These messages do not make an automated decision about your quote.

HighLevel also provides the separate external website analytics used on this site. It acts on behalf of Tidy Jet Washing to provide aggregate reporting used to improve this website. The quote form remains a separate embedded frame and its submitted fields are not copied into website analytics events.

Who can access or receive it?

Access is limited to Mike and an authorised website or HighLevel administrator when account maintenance or support is necessary. Relevant information may also be processed by HighLevel and its contracted service providers, communications providers used to deliver messages, and professional advisers such as an accountant, insurer or legal adviser when genuinely required.

Tidy Jet Washing does not sell your information. It may disclose information if required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Is information processed outside the UK?

HighLevel and some of its contracted providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. How long is it kept?

• If an enquiry does not become booked work, its contact and enquiry information is normally deleted 12 months after the last meaningful contact.
• If work is booked, operational information is kept while it is needed to provide the service and manage the customer relationship.
• Invoices, transaction records and information needed for tax, accounting, complaints or legal claims may normally be kept for up to six years after the relevant work or financial period.

Information is deleted or anonymised sooner when it is no longer needed, unless a legal reason requires it to be retained.

The HighLevel tracker uses a one-day session cookie. Analytics is used for aggregate reporting, and individual-level information must not be retained longer than is needed to produce those statistics. Analytics reporting is reviewed at least annually and information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised using the controls available in HighLevel.

How is it protected and deleted?

Tidy Jet Washing limits account access and uses service providers that are required to protect information. Personal quote details are not intentionally placed in public website code, page addresses or analytics events.

When a valid deletion request is received, the matching contact and conversation records are located in the Tidy Jet Washing HighLevel account and deleted or restricted by Mike or the authorised account administrator. Information that must be retained for a legal reason is separated from day-to-day enquiry use and kept only for that reason.

Cookies and external links

On the public website, HighLevel analytics sets a first-party cookie beginninglc_session_ for one day, with session storage as a fallback, and may use local browser storage to maintain a HighLevel visitor identifier. It is used only for aggregate statistics intended to improve this website, not for advertising or profiling.

You can object free of charge using the button below. This removes the known analytics session information and records the objection in this browser so the tracker stays off on later pages. The embedded HighLevel quote form may separately use essential browser technologies to load and secure the form.

Links to Facebook, Google and other external services take you to websites with their own privacy policies.

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or a copy of it.
